Craft Day in Sayward, British Columbia

Baking dozens of gingerbread cookies and making various crafts – that’s how Christmas should be celebrated! And that is exactly how it is celebrated in Sayward, British Columbia.

“As Christmas is for the kids, we hope to make this an annual event at Christmas time”, says Ann Vansnick, President of Sayward’s Heritage Hall. Ann had organized this fun event to try and bring back some traditions that seem to get lost in the age of Playstation 3 and I Pods. Judging by the positive reaction of the two dozen kids partaking in the event, it seems to be a hit.

Marine Harvest Canada was more than happy to donate the baking supplies for the cookies. Staff at Marine Harvest are also hoping to get a taste of those yummy gingerbread cookies! Ann, can you hook us up?

Whether or not we get a taste of those delicious cookies, the staff from Marine Harvest Canada would like to wish the Sayward community a very, merry Christmas!
